The Alcatel-Lucent OS-BPS, also known as the OmniSwitch backup power shelf (BPS), is designed to provide robust protection against primary power supply and AC circuit failures. Capable of actively backing up 8 devices, the OS-BPS ensures reliable operation. It features 5 power supply bays that can accommodate up to three PoE power supplies (OS-BPS-P-xx) and two 450W system power supplies (OS-BPS-S). The default configuration includes one 450W AC power supply, four 1m. long DB25 cables, and a country-specific power cord. Additional system and PoE power supplies need to be purchased separately.
